The third USPU seminar on Language Teaching Methodologies has concluded the series of three. This time the Russian Professors, Daria Starkova and Alexandra Mursich, have focused on designing plans of communicative skills development in foreign language teaching. Daria Starkova discussed with the GCIS teachers the most effective ways and approaches of developing speaking and listening skills, whilst Alexandra Mursich has covered reading and writing skills. The USPU professors shared with Indian teachers the scientific and methodological discoveries made by Russian scholars: L. Vygotsky, A.N. Leontiev, A.A. Leontiev, I.A. Zimnyaya, E.N. Solovova, R. Milrud.

The teachers revealed all their enthusiasm in creative work when they were preparing plans of communicative skills development in groups. They extensively used Daria Starkova's book "Tech Pack collection of up-to-date classroom techniques".

As always, it was a delight for GCIS to host our Russian colleagues, we're looking forward to the continuation of our collaboration with the Ural State Pedagogical University.
